She's baaack....

Greetings interweb! We meet again! I find I've been lured back into the world of writing web logs about all things important to me, namely food, cataloguing, librarianship with a smattering of pop culture references and random tech related wannabe nerdouts. Whether or not anyone will find this log useful is doubtful, however I feel it will be a good exercise in publicly practicing my lack of craft.

As a way of introducing the perceptive reader to the (SFW) inner workings of my mind, I'll be posting a 15 part mini-series (not so "mini" - I know, but I'm trying for a certain "voice" so bear with me) of blog posts that were originally published as part of a Social Media class I took in the winter of 2010 (through Western University's Library Information Science Master's program at FIMS) while on co-op at University of Waterloo Library, Cataloguing Department. The original entirety of those posts are surprisingly still online, however in an attempt to provide an alternative archived location, I will post the text here with revised comments and reflection as an exercise of review. What's changed in the two years since I made weekly obligatory posts for a class. Have I "practiced what I preached"? Do I still feel the same? How naive were my comments? Will I still feel strongly about the value of librarianship as a profession, or will I question everything I once thought dear while learning the craft as wannabe librarian in school? Only time will tell! Subscribe to my feed to find out!
